About the Salon

New York City's first Japanese Hair Salon, established in 1972. Recognized as a gathering spot for ambitious, young talent, this hair salon introduced "Japanese Straightening" in 1986 and continues to pioneer in its development. PRO TIP: Street Parking available on the weekends and garage available on the weekdays near by. Near Grand Central Station and a few blocks away from the Subway entrance.

About the Host: 

The Owner has operated business for over 50 years in Manhattan. Additionally, opened 2nd store in Scarsdale, NY (Westchester, NY). In the 90s had opened a store in Atlanta GA. This hair salon has locations in Frankfurt Germany and Osaka Japan (owned and operated by business associates). Sammy has opened the doors for many stylists from all over the world! He offers training and opportunities for growth. He looks forward to hosting you during your ShearShare stay!
