After being scored by a group of judges and voted on by millions of Tech. Co readers, ShearShare has been selected to move on to to compete at Tech.Co’s Startup of the Year Competition live at Innovate! and Celebrate Conference in San Jose, CA, September 20-22, 2016. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase our beauty-tech company and meet important investors and advisors. We are thrilled!
Here’s what will happen over the course of this 3-day journey…
Tuesday, September 22nd
A fun day of interactive excursions/networking with our fellow Innovate! and Celebrate attendees in the San Jose area including things like getting professional headshots, tours, coffee demos, comedy show, art workshop, cooking classes, etc
Wednesday, September 23rd
Rise and shine! Time to pitch our expert judges in the semifinals round of Tech.Co’s Startup of the Year competition. Their scores and votes will determine whether we’re one of the final five companies that will present on Thursday.
Enjoy the rest of the day listening to some stellar keynotes and speaker sessions, while also getting expert mentor sessions and relaxing over a great lunch on site.
In the evening, it’s time for us to shine! We’ll be celebrating our top 50 startups at the Tech.Co Startup of the Year Party at The GlassHouse. Each startup will receive an expo table to demo to event attendees (conference attendees and the local bay area attendees) while they mix and mingle over cocktails and appetizers.
Thursday, September 24th
In the morning, we will announce the top five finalists and then listen to some industry leading speakers. In the afternoon, the final companies (hopefully ShearShare!) will go on stage one-by-one, to pitch the audience and answer questions from the judges. The judges will cast their votes and one company will be announced as the winner of Tech.Co’s Startup of the Year!
