Calling all Western New York hairstylists, salon owners, barbers, cosmetology students, microblading artists, nail techs, barbershop owners, estheticians, braiders, barber apprentices, makeup artists, and massage therapists! ShearShare wants YOU to shear-SHARE your “why” for a big cash prize! To enter, upload a short video of yourself sharing why you decided to join the beauty and barbering industry as a professional . . . that’s it!
First prize wins $1,000, 2nd prize takes home $700, and 3rd prize walks away with $300!

Upload your video below sharing your “why.” Be sure to include your name, licensed specialty, and years of experience. We will award a prize of $1,000, $700, and $300 to three individual winners.
Don’t know how to edit your video? No problem! Your video does not have to be highly produced. The more raw the footage, the better! Just remember to register on our app after you submit.
Winners will be announced in person at the Seneca One Tower in downtown Buffalo on September 13 at 6pm. Must be present to win. Winners will also be featured on our Web site and social channels.

Street parking can be found around the perimeter of Seneca One Tower. There is also a visitor parking ramp at 50 Exchange Street for $5 entry.
Directions from the Parking Ramp:
Once you park, please walk or use the elevator to get to the 3rd level. The entrance to the bridge to Seneca One is directly to your right.
Once you’ve crossed the bridge to Seneca One, head through the plaza where you will find the east and west entrances of the Seneca One Tower. You may enter at either entrance and take the escalator up to the Seneca One lobby.
