Recently, our COO, Courtney Caldwell sat down with Jazze Maxie of Dallas radio station 97.9 The Beat to talk about how ShearShare is helping drive small business, specifically in the beauty and hair industry. Even before the COVID pandemic, the way our industry operates was in a state of flux with more and more cosmetologists, estheticians and barbering professionals looking for more cost-effective ways of running their independent businesses of one. Likewise, salons, spas, and barbershops across the country are starting to see the number of vacant stations and booths in their shops grow at a tune to 40%.
ShearShare has been looking to solve that problem for the past four years and has grown to include tens of thousands of hair and beauty professions, with thousands of available stations across the country. While we’ve been called the “HairBNB of the hair and beauty space”, we’re carving out business solutions that cater to much more than just hair!
ShearShare is Reimagining How, When, and Where You Work
Courtney used her time with Jazze to discuss just how important our industry is and share ShearShare’s mission to help the entire industry work together to grow their individual brands and business models one chair at a time. During the conversation, they cover just how easy it is to join ShearShare because the app is available in both the App Store and Google Playstore. Courtney also lists out the different services available in the app from being able to filter searches by city, amenities or personal needs. Likewise, hosts have the ability to manage their listings and relationships with professionals directly from the app without having to use multiple programs.
ShearShare was built to help beauty and barbering professionals, as well as brick and mortar shops run their business efficiently and effectively to drive revenue, which we all know is the bottom line that matters.
