The City of Buffalo, New York, is hosting its first-ever Black men’s empowerment summit on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Northland Workforce Training Center, sponsored by Mayor Byron Brown and the City of Buffalo. The event is scheduled for March 9, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Northland Workforce Training Center and aims to provide a platform for open dialogue and education in key areas that can positively impact the community. The City of Buffalo recognizes the importance of continued support and development for the black community. “It is critically important for us to continue to come together as a community and support one another, “ Mayor Brown stated. “The Black Men’s Empowerment Summit & Brunch provides an opportunity for our community to have an open dialogue and work towards building a stronger city for all people.”

The workshops will assist families and communities by empowering them to accomplish their future goals and aspirations.
